Last year, Azerbaijan earned 2,707,608.8 million manat from its main gas pipelines, marking a 7.6% increase compared to the previous year, the State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics.
This figure was 2,516,082.5 million manat in 2023.
Note that last year, 40,348.3 million cubic meters of gas were transported through Azerbaijan's main gas pipelines, reflecting a 2.7% increase compared to the previous year.
56.6% of the gas transportation was carried out through the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum South Caucasus pipeline. This pipeline transports gas extracted from the Shah Deniz gas-condensate field. During the reporting period, 22,851.9 million cubic meters of gas were transmitted through this pipeline, marking a 4.3% increase.
