The US administration is in favor of a long-term and sustainable ceasefire in Ukraine, not a short-term one, State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce stated at a briefing, APA reports.
According to her, the US goal is not just symbolic and short-term agreements, but a full, comprehensive and sustainable ceasefire:
"This is not a three-day event to celebrate something. The goal is a full and sustainable ceasefire, and at the same time an end to the conflict."
