Azerbaijanchr("39")s Minister of Culture Adil Karimli met with Moroccochr("39")s Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, who is currently on a visit to Baku.
The meeting took place at the International Mugham Center and was also attended by Azerbaijanchr("39")s Ambassador to Morocco, Nazim Samadov.
Minister Karimli highlighted that relations between the two countries are strong across all areas, including culture. He recalled his visit to Morocco in 2023 and the meetings held there.
It was noted that Azerbaijan Cultural Days were held in Morocco in 2008 and 2010, while Moroccan Cultural Days took place in Baku in 2009 and 2011. Both sides emphasized the importance of reviving these cultural exchanges and discussed organizing new mutual cultural days along with other topics of shared interest.
